Qualifications
· The ideal candidate has a strong technical background, excellent communication skills, and a desire to contribute to impactful infrastructure projects
· Required: Florida Professional Land Surveyor (PLS)
· Minimum of 5 years construction surveying experience
· Proficiency in AutoCAD Civil 3D and PC-based survey software a plus
· Experience with Trimble or willingness to learn
· Valid driver's license and a clean driving record
· Strong written/verbal communication skills
· Ability to lift 50 pounds and navigate active construction sites and walk 5 miles a day
· In this role, you'll work directly with Project Managers to conduct boundary, topographic, as-built, and construction layout surveys
· You'll also assist in machine GPS control setup
· Perform as-built, and construction layout surveys
· Take precise site measurements and determine legal property boundaries
· Support setup and troubleshooting of machine GPS controls (Trimble experience a plus)
· Review and work with AutoCAD Civil 3D for plan production and field calculations
· Maintain clear, accurate field records and technical documentation
· Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior staff or crews
· Conduct site visits and inspections, walking projects with uneven terrain and physical demands
· Frequent site visits to commercial, industrial, and government project locations
