Job Overview:
We are seeking reliable and skilled Industrial Construction Workers to join our team at Action Labor. This is a physically demanding role that requires the ability to perform a variety of tasks in a fast-paced environment. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in construction and be able to work with a range of materials and equipment. Previous experience in building Wastewater Treatment Facilities a PLUS
Duties:
- Perform a variety of tasks related to construction, such as laying tile, plumbing, and masonry.
- Read and interpret blueprints and schematics to ensure accurate installation of materials.
- Operate heavy equipment, such as forklifts and cranes, to move materials and supplies around the site.
- Use carpentry skills to build and install frames, doors, and windows.
- Install and repair drywall and stucco as needed.
- Assist in the installation of electrical and HVAC systems.
- Perform other tasks as required to support the construction process.
Qualifications:
- Experience in construction, carpentry, or a related field.
- Strong knowledge of construction materials and techniques.
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints and schematics.
- Experience operating heavy equipment, such as forklifts and cranes.
- Proficiency in tile laying, plumbing, and masonry.
- Ability to work at heights and in confined spaces.
- Physical stamina and ability to lift heavy objects.
- Familiarity with drywall and stucco installation.
- Ability to follow safety protocols and maintain a safe work environment.
Requirements
This jobsite is on a Military Base. You must be able to provide acceptable ID and undergo any backgrounds checks required for an access card.
Must have own transportation and tools
