We are seeking an experienced Metal Industrial Painter with blasting experience to join our team. The ideal candidate will have at least 2 years of hands-on experience in industrial painting, including surface preparation through blasting, priming, and finishing of metal components. As part of our team, you’ll be responsible for applying protective coatings to metal surfaces, ensuring high-quality and durable finishes while adhering to safety and quality standards.
Job Responsibilities:
-Perform abrasive blasting (sandblasting or similar techniques) to prepare metal surfaces for painting, ensuring proper cleanliness and roughness for coating adhesion.
- Use spray guns, rollers, rollers, or other methods as required to apply industrial coatings to metal surfaces, including primers, base coats, and topcoats
-Mix and prepare paint and other coating materials according to specifications, ensuring proper ratios and consistency.
Qualifications:
-At least 2 years of experience in industrial painting and surface preparation, with specific expertise in abrasive blasting techniques.
-Knowledge of various types of coatings, including epoxies, polyurethanes, and other industrial paints.
-Familiarity with the operation and maintenance of blasting and painting equipment.
-Strong attention to detail and commitment to delivering high-quality finishes.
-Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and work orders.
