Excavator operators needed for Water Treatment plants
We are looking for an Excavator operator that has experience excavating for a pipe crew installing large diameter pressure and gravity pipe systems.
This position requires safely excavating around people and existing live utilities on active water/wastewater treatment plants. A successful candidate is able to excavate with precision, properly slope and/or bench the excavation walls, pull a smooth grade 2’’ at time, place pipe bedding, and be capable of hoisting pipe and fittings in and out of an excavation. All work will be around people and other equipment.
A successful candidate will also have experience assembling, installing, and working inside of trench boxes or other shoring systems. Experience in groundwater management and excavating in wet conditions is a plus.
You must have some certifications or be able to be tested and certified.
