Job Description:
We are seeking a knowledgeable and customer-focused Automotive Service Site Advisor to join our team. As an Automotive Service Site Advisor, you will be the primary point of contact for customers seeking automotive maintenance and repair services. You will play a critical role in ensuring customer satisfaction by providing expert guidance, scheduling appointments, and facilitating smooth communication between customers and our service technicians.
Responsibilities:
- Greet customers warmly and assess their vehicle's service needs.
- Consult with customers to understand their concerns and vehicle issues.
- Provide accurate estimates for necessary repairs, parts, and labor costs.
- Schedule service appointments and coordinate with technicians to ensure timely completion.
- Communicate service recommendations and updates to customers throughout the process.
- Upsell additional services, maintenance packages, or accessories to enhance customer satisfaction and vehicle longevity.
- Maintain detailed records of customer interactions, service history, and work performed.
- Address customer inquiries, concerns, and complaints in a professional and efficient manner.
- Collaborate with service technicians and other team members to optimize workflow and customer service delivery.
Requirements:
- Previous experience as an automotive service advisor or a related customer service role.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Strong knowledge of automotive systems, maintenance, and repair procedures.
- Ability to provide accurate cost estimates and recommend appropriate services.
- Proficiency in computer software and systems used for scheduling and record-keeping.
- Exceptional customer service orientation with a focus on building long-term relationships.
- Detail-oriented with the ability to multitask and prioritize tasks effectively.
- High school diploma or equivalent; additional certification or training in automotive technology is a plus.
