Job Responsibilities:
Greet and check in patients, ensuring they feel welcome and comfortable.
Answer phone calls, schedule appointments, and confirm patient visits.
Verify patient insurance and financial information, and assist with processing claims.
Maintain patient records, ensuring all information is up-to-date and accurate.
Collect payments and assist with billing inquiries.
Coordinate with dental team members to ensure a smooth workflow.
Handle various administrative tasks such as filing, faxing, and office organization.
Manage the office schedule to maximize efficiency.
Ensure the front office area is clean, organized, and welcoming for patients.
Qualifications:
Previous experience in a dental office or similar customer service role is preferred, but not required.
Strong organizational and multitasking skills.
Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with a positive attitude.
Proficiency in computer systems and dental office software is a plus.
High school diploma or equivalent required.
