Fluidra’s looking for a Quality Technician to join our team in Jacksonville, FL.
WHAT YOU WILL CONTRIBUTE
Inspection of finished and in-process products by performing visual, dimensional and documentation inspection and audits
Using inspection equipment, measuring techniques and use of PC and mainframe computer system
Perform Root Cause Analysis
Follow specified procedures or instructions within the framework of the product quality requirements
Participate in Kaizens and other continuous improvement activities
Assist in conducting Product Tests and Assessment.
Document non conformances
Ensure required GMP is being followed
Perform related duties as assigned by Manager
Maintain compliance with all company policies and procedures
WHAT WE SEEK
Must have 3+ years in a quality control position in a manufacturing environment
Excellent verbal and written communication skills, including ability to effectively communicate with internal customers
Excellent computer proficiency
Must be able to work under pressure and meet deadlines, while maintaining a positive attitude and providing full support to the production team
Ability to work independently and to carry out assignments to completion within parameters of instructions given, prescribed routines, and standard accepted practices
Ability to read and understand drawings and work instructions
Ability to read measuring instruments (micrometers, scales, calipers, and indicators)
ISO 9001 experience is a plus
EDUCATION
High school diploma or GED required
Associate degree or Technical certificate preferred
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:
Ability to safely and successfully perform the essential job functions consistent with the ADA, FMLA and other federal, state and local standards, including meeting qualitative and/or quantitative productivity standards.
Must be able to lift and carry up to 50 lbs
Must be able to talk, listen and communicate clearly with coworkers
