Job Overview:
We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced die-setter to join our manufacturing team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for setting up and maintaining dies in machines used for stamping, molding, or forming metal or plastic components.
Key Responsibilities:
-Install, align, and secure dies into machines for production runs according to specified procedures and safety standards.
- Perform routine inspections and preventive maintenance on dies, adjusting them as necessary to ensure optimal performance and
product quality.
-Identify and troubleshoot any issues with dies, machinery, or processes, coordinating repairs and adjustments to resolve issues quickly.
-Monitor production output to ensure that parts meet quality standards, performing visual inspections and testing where applicable.
- Maintain accurate records of die settings, maintenance logs, and machine adjustments.
-Work closely with the production team, engineers, and quality control personnel to optimize machine setups and enhance production
efficiency.
Qualifications:
-Proven experience as a Die Setter, Machine Operator
-Knowledge of die-setting techniques and equipment, including die presses, stamping, molding, and related machinery.
-Ability to read and interpret technical drawings, blueprints, and machine specifications.
Familiarity with safety procedures and quality control processes in manufacturing.
Experience with computer-controlled machines or automated systems.
Ability to work with minimal supervision and as part of a team.
Physical Requirements:
Ability to lift and move heavy materials (up to 50 pounds).
Ability to stand for long periods, bend, stoop, and kneel as necessary.
Comfortable working in a manufacturing environment with exposure to noise, heat, and machinery.
