Job Description: As a Moto Electric Vehicles’ mechanic, you will work directly with the shop manager and help produce high end golf carts and large electric shuttles which include a lot of options and accessories! This position will deal will installing accessories onto our electric vehicles, detailing the electric vehicles to show room condition, and it also will include light diagnosis of any problems that might arise with one of our electric carts.
Key Responsibilities:
The following are the key responsibilities of a Moto Electric Vehicles’ Mechanic:
· Evaluation of Work Order Before Starting Work on a New Golf Cart Build
· Assessment of any Damages or items to be fixed before installation of accessories begin.
· Install Electrical Accessories onto Cart
o We prefer experience but are willing to coach!
· Light Fabrication Might Be Needed from time to time depending on the Job
· Detail/Cleaning of Cart is required. This is an essential part of the process, and we are looking for a mechanic that pays attention to detail!
Ability to do Autobody Work and Painting is a PLUS
The following are the key responsibilities of a Moto Electric Vehicles’ Painter:
· The Ability to evaluate the Golf Cart or Electric Shuttle to ensure a complete paint repair can be made. After the repair is made, the golf cart must be in show room condition.
· Manage several paint projects at one time to ensure max production is achieved daily.
· Manage Paint Supplies in an effective and orderly manner which will result in lack of waste.
Qualifications:
· Experience w/ Low Voltage Wiring (Example: Radio, Speakers, Lights, Etc.)
· Experience and past performance when pertaining to being a mechanic.
· Ability to work fast and efficiently without making mistakes.
· Ability to work with others in a group setting but also having the ability to stay on task and stay focused.
· Experience with detailing cars or golf carts a plus
· Physical ability to climb under vehicles.
· Physical ability to lift 60 lbs. or less.
· A good attitude and the drive to want to learn new skills.
· Ability to listen to directions and stick to processes that have been in place for years.
· Experience with Body Work Using Body Filler
· Experience with Painting Automobiles, Golf Carts, UTVs, etc.
· The knowledge w/ Mixing Single Stage Paints with Hardener and Reducer
This position requires tools. Moto Electric Vehicles supplies the large tools needed to perform the job, some of the tools needed would be:
· Metric Wrenches and Sockets
· Drill/ Impact Gun
· Screw Drivers
· Tape Measure
