Job Summary:
As a Lawn Care Technician, you will be responsible for maintaining the health and appearance of our clients' lawns. This role involves performing various lawn care tasks, including mowing, edging, fertilizing, and weed control. The ideal candidate will have a strong work ethic, attention to detail, and a passion for outdoor work.
Responsibilities:
Perform regular lawn maintenance tasks such as mowing, edging, trimming, and blowing debris.
Operate and maintain lawn care equipment, ensuring proper functioning and safety.
Communicate effectively with clients to address any concerns or questions regarding lawn care.
Keep accurate records of work performed, including service reports and inventory usage.
Follow company policies and procedures, including safety protocols and environmental regulations.
Continuously strive to improve lawn care techniques and stay updated on industry trends and best practices.
Assist in other landscaping tasks as needed, such as planting, mulching, and watering.
Qualifications:
Previous experience in lawn care or landscaping preferred.
Ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions and perform physical tasks, including lifting and bending.
Excellent communication and customer service skills.
Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
Physical Requirements:
Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds.
Stamina to work long hours outdoors in varying weather conditions.
Agility to operate lawn care equipment and perform repetitive tasks.
Working Conditions:
Work primarily outdoors in residential and commercial properties.
Exposure to sunlight, heat, humidity, and various environmental allergens.
Use of personal protective equipment (PPE) when handling chemicals or operating equipment.
