Trailer MechanicJob Duties:
As a Trailer Mechanic, you will be entrusted with the responsibility of performing repairs and installations on trailers, chassis, and containers.
Swapping trailer chassis, moving boxes from one chassis to another, metal fabrication, and repairing or replacing trailer components such as doors, hinges, metal floors, wall panels, and roofs.
Engage in both aluminum and steel welding, primarily using MIG for aluminum and Stick welding for steel.
Electrical wiring tasks predominantly involving DC wiring, setting up lights, brakes, and other electrical components on the chassis.
Install additional items like lift gates.
Material movement within the facility using a forklift will also be part of your duties.s.
Installing metal flooring and metal sheets into trailers.
Fabrication of metal frames, bumpers etc.

Will be measured base doff the quality of work they do.
Will be evaluated for pay raise one brought on permanent.
After brought on perm evaluations will be done halfway through the year.
bonuses at the end of the year based on performance (flat bonus rate).
Pay increase depend on performance, attitude and attendance.
