We are seeking a Senior Director of Accounting to lead our team. In this role, you will develop and optimize global Commerce Inventory, COGS, and supply chain accounting processes. You will be responsible for leading month, quarter, and year-end close & reporting processes for Inventory and COGS to publish timely financial reporting and analysis for management and key stakeholders. You will also support the accounting team in researching and analyzing accounting guidance pertaining to new and current business models, and partner with cross-functional business partners to establish an aligned set of metrics. Your role will involve partnering with Internal Audit and other key stakeholders on specific projects related to Inventory. You will also support the implementation of new finance and accounting technology systems, and drive and achieve results through leading and influencing team members. You will be expected to build and maintain a highly effective team that is aligned with company values through talent development, training, and mentoring, while fostering a culture of high performance, belonging, inclusion, and diversity.Responsibilities:

Develop and optimize global Commerce Inventory, COGS, and supply chain accounting processes with the appropriate people, policies, and controls that will drive business growth efficiently over the coming years while maintaining compliance with accounting regulations

Lead month, quarter, and year-end close & reporting processes for Inventory and COGS to publish timely financial reporting and analysis for management and key stakeholders

Support the accounting team in researching and analyzing accounting guidance pertaining to new and current business models

Partner with cross-functional business partners to establish an aligned set of metrics, optimize processes and ways of working, and establish the appropriate governance over inventory health

Successfully partner with Internal Audit and other key stakeholders on specific projects related to Inventory

Support the implementation of new finance and accounting technology systems

Drive and achieve results through leading and influencing team members

Build and maintain a highly effective team that is aligned with company values through talent development, training, and mentoring to promote a culture of high performance
