Description We are seeking a Project Assistant to join our team based in Jacksonville, Florida. This role is crucial in supporting our team's operations and ensuring a diverse range of tasks are executed accurately and efficiently. This position offers a short term contract employment opportunity and requires skills in customer service. Responsibilities: Coordinating and managing project tasks to ensure project delivery within allotted budget and timelines. Providing administrative support to the project team where necessary. Interacting with a diverse demographic, ensuring effective communication and mutual understanding. Participating in and facilitating project meetings. Ensuring project documents are complete, current, and appropriately stored. Communicating important progress updates to team members and other stakeholders. Assisting in the planning, scheduling, and tracking of project timelines and milestones. Ensuring all team members have the required information and resources to carry out their tasks effectively. Maintaining a friendly and professional demeanor when interacting with team members or clients. Addressing and resolving any issues that may arise during the project lifecycle. Requirements Possesses a bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience in a relevant field Excellent customer service skills are required Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, are necessary Must be proficient in using Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel and Word Demonstrated ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines effectively Must be detail-oriented and have excellent organizational skills Demonstrates problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently Experience in project management would be beneficial A team player who can also work well independently Must have the legal right to work in the location of employment Must be willing to comply with all company policies and procedures.
