Job Title: Pricing ManagerJob DescriptionWe are seeking a dedicated Pricing Manager to work with our pricing and planning teams. This role involves developing, planning, and recommending pricing actions to drive additional profit through product, customer, or regional pricing projects. The Pricing Manager will support the team by modeling revenue and margin opportunities, performing detailed analysis of product and competitive data, and coordinating with inventory management, marketing, and merchandising to optimize promotions.Responsibilities
Develop, plan, and recommend pricing actions that drive additional profit through product, customer, or regional pricing projects.
Support the pricing team in modeling revenue and margin opportunities.
Perform detailed analysis of product and competitive data to optimize regular prices for merchandising categories.
Track and measure category performance (sales, margin, etc.).
Coordinate with inventory management, marketing, and merchandising to optimize promotions.
Analyze results and recommend items and prices for future promotions.
Assist in the development of pricing strategy with the pricing and planning teams.
Recommend and enforce pricing policies and strategies to maintain or improve competitive position and/or profitability.
Conduct advanced analysis using Excel, PriceFX, and other database tools.
Implement, monitor, and adjust sales and marketing programs/promotions to ensure incremental gains from month-to-month and year-to-year.
Develop strategies to achieve organizational goals.
Essential Skills
Expertise in Microsoft Excel.
Analytical and detail-oriented with strong problem-solving skills.
Experience in pricing optimization/modeling in retail and/or wholesale distribution environment.
Knowledge of statistical and pricing models.
Strong written and verbal communication skills.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in a quantitative field such as Finance, Economics, Mathematics.
MBA preferred.
Experience in PriceFX is a plus.
Experience in retail and/or wholesale distribution pricing, merchandising, or marketing analysis at both strategic and tactical levels (preferred but not required).
Work Environment
The position is based at our corporate headquarters, with a standard 5-day workweek. The work environment is collaborative, leveraging advanced technological tools such as PriceFX and Excel to support data-driven decision making.
Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $38.00 - $39.00/hr.Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
