- Manage the customer stakeholders, team members, and contract personnel to design and plan a solution and establish associated project timelines and budgets that allow for the delivery of the most strategic functionality within the project installation constraints
- Develop, maintain, review and/or disseminate all project documentation including project charter, status reports, invoices, change orders, schedules, budgets, and retrospective reviews
- Initiate and document communication with customer personnel involved in each new installation, maintaining thorough records
- Coordinate numerous variables and deliverables, both internally and externally, to ensure the team is prepared for installation
- Establish and maintain a usable and well communicated schedule for all phases of a project
- Determine resource requirements (including staffing, software, hardware, and facilities) of projects based on project specifications and working with all key team members
- Determine project roles for team members based on requirements, time frames, and budget
- Partner and work effectively with external and internal resources to achieve project goals
- Report project status to internal and customer stakeholders in a professional manner
- Ensure project meets internal and customer expectations with respect to quality, budget, delivery timelines, and strategy
- Identify, track, manage, and mitigate risk on specific customer engagements; escalate issues when necessary to ensure minimal impact to quality, budget, and timeline
- Requires strong interpersonal and communication skills in dealing with customer relationships at all levels of an organization
- Bachelor's Degree and 3+ years of experience in a Project Management role, ideally on an installation
- Experience adhering to contract specifications and establishing processes and procedures
- Proficiency with creating project plan templates as well as related dashboards and measurables
- Comfort with identifying and escalating issues as necessary
- History of ensuring projects managed were within budget as per their statement of work
- High level of comfort working with technical colleagues
- Experience relating projects to an internal ERP and other systems
- Experience working with a multitude of project management tools, including Smartsheet, Jira, MS Project, etc.
- Ability to manage both external customer projects as well as internal company projects
- Experience in external customer projects overall, also relating the complete profitability of the project for measurable review
- Experience and understanding in the supply chain and internal operations processes
- Project Management Professional (PMP) certification is preferred
- Six Sigma and or Kaizen experience as well as process improvement a plus
- Ability to juggle multiple projects simultaneously and collaborate with all levels of the organization
