Shift: 4 Days On / 3 Days Off – Must be flexible for morning and night shifts
Location: Northside Jacksonville, FL
As a Machine Operator, you will be responsible for running and maintaining high-speed production machinery. You'll work alongside the machine to monitor production flow, clear jams, make basic adjustments, and ensure consistent output. Operators must stay alert, follow safety protocols, and keep the production line running efficiently.
Responsibilities:
-Set up, operate, and monitor automated and semi-automated machinery
-Physically monitor production lines, clearing blockages, feeding materials, and preventing downtime
-Troubleshoot minor mechanical issues and escalate major problems to maintenance
-Conduct visual and manual quality checks during and after production runs
-Complete daily production logs, downtime reports, and shift hand-offs
-Assist with material staging and end-of-run cleanup
-Maintain compliance with all safety standards, including lockout/tagout and PPE protocols
-Work in a non-climate-controlled (hot) environment
Requirements:
-Recent machine operating experience within the last 2 years (required)
-Experience working in hot, high-speed manufacturing environments
-Troubleshooting skills or mechanical aptitude is a plus
-Comfortable working around moving machinery and physically clearing jams or resetting lines
-Ability to stand, bend, and lift up to 50 lbs during a 10–12-hour shift
-Must be flexible to work both day and night shifts as needed
