This is a full-time (40hrs/week) paid internship that will begin on June 2, 2025 and conclude on August 8, 2025. About the roleMBP Implementations supports the Large Financial Institution (LFI) market in the adoption and deployment of next generation Core through the implementation of FIS's Modern Banking Platform.FIS Modern Banking Platform (MBP) is a real-time, multi-currency deposit and loan core banking system. Developed as a single integrated solution, MBP provides a multitude of configurable features designed to meet the unique business and product needs of retail and commercial financial organizations.About The Team You will join a team of business analysts that supports client implementations. As a business analyst you will be working with additional business analysts, quality assurance testers, project managers to ensure the timely delivery of product features.What You Will Be Doing  Defines product scope and associated requirementsDevelops subject matter expertise in areas of the MBP solutionServes as liaison between client and FIS teams during implementation projectsExpertly researches and documents requirements related to system design or enhancement needTranslates business requirements into MBP configurationBuilds MBP expertise coupled with a solid knowledge of banking & accounting to assist & guide client in streamlining processes and proceduresDocuments and performs system configuration with focus on triggering loan & deposit account events (i.e. interest accrual, interest posting, account maturity, loan billing, transaction processing) and in some cases manages system and back office processing (i.e. End of day processing, system balancing, exception reconciliation)Assist and support creation of detailed specifications from which solutions will be implementedCreates and/or modifies processes and procedures to achieve greater efficiencies and desired resultsWilling to assess available functionality and recommend solutions to teamLearn to write test plans and test cases to ensure enhancements made to applications meet client needs and application integrity is maintainedConducts a variety of tests during project lifecycle such as verification, integration, readiness, and acceptance tests.
