The team leader provides leadership through activities that include development of staff, teaching, precepting, and quality improvements.This position functions as the liaison between Surgical Services and Instrument Processing.QualificationsHigh school diploma and or GED. Graduate of an accredited and/or hospital approved Surgical Technician program.Additional Qualifications :Orthopedic experience preferred.Knowledge of the principles of aseptic technique; orientation of surgical procedures; preparation, operation and care of equipment and machines; understands patient and staff safety recommendations.
