Description GIS Specialist - Jacksonville, FLDo you thrive in a fast-paced environment and enjoy providing technical solutions? Are you a GIS wiz with experience in CAD? If so, we want you on our team!This position offers an opportunity for a skilled GIS Specialist to leverage their expertise in managing and updating geospatial data, while also providing top-notch CAD/GIS support to a collaborative team.What you'll do:

Utilize your GIS and CAD skills to prepare As-built drawings and maintain associated project files.

Ensure accuracy and consistency by reviewing, updating, and maintaining electronic drawings and files.

Craft clear and concise CAD drawings for tenant improvements and lease exhibits.

Maintain a comprehensive facility information database, keeping data current.

Provide exceptional CAD/GIS support to both internal and external clients.

Guarantee quality control by reviewing electronic files from architects and engineers for standards compliance.

Keep GIS graphics, software, and databases up-to-date and functioning smoothly.

Troubleshoot technical challenges and develop effective solutions.

Play a key role in analyzing, researching, designing, and implementing mapping tools, templates, and data standards.

Maintain a well-organized system for project files, drawings, and maintenance manuals.

Requirements

Technical Expertise:

Proficiency in Application Support, including experience troubleshooting and resolving software issues.

Proven experience with Geographic Information Systems (GIS) and familiarity with related software.

We're especially seeking candidates with knowledge and experience using ESRI GIS software.

Communication and Collaboration:

Excellent verbal and written communication skills to clearly explain technical concepts and collaborate effectively with a team.

Problem-Solving and Initiative:

A knack for troubleshooting and resolving technical challenges with a solutions-oriented approach.

Education:

A Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field is preferred. However, strong candidates with demonstrably relevant experience may be considered.
