Description We are searching for a Financial Analyst to join our team in Jacksonville, Florida. This role involves the use of advanced data analysis tools and techniques to support decision making in our financial services sector. This role offers a short term contract employment opportunity.Responsibilities: Analyze financial data using Accounting Software Systems and Advanced Excel functionalities such as Macros, Pivot Table, xlookup, HLOOKUP, and VLOOKUP. Perform data migration and data mining tasks to generate insights for financial decision making. Utilize ADP - Financial Services for payroll processing and other related tasks. Handle customer relationship management (CRM) duties to maintain and improve customer relations. Generate financial reports using Crystal Reports and Great Plains (GPAC) to inform management decisions. Conduct regular auditing of financial records to ensure accuracy and compliance with regulations. Be responsible for capital management and budget processes to ensure efficient use of resources. Perform accrual accounting functions and other accounting duties as required. Prepare annual and monthly financial reports detailing the financial status and performance of the company. Use your skills in Data Mining Techniques to extract valuable information from large volumes of data. Requirements Possess a minimum of 3 years of experience as a Financial Analyst or in a related field Proficiency in Accounting Software Systems and ADP - Financial Services Experience with CRM, Crystal Reports and Data Mining Techniques Understanding of Accounting Functions including Accrual Accounting Familiarity with Auditing, Budget Processes, and Capital Management Skilled in using Macros, Pivot Table, xlookup, HLOOKUP, and VLOOKUP Experience with Great Plains (GPAC) software Ability to handle Annual Financial Reporting and Monthly Financial Reporting Maintain Financial Records in an organized and efficient manner A Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting or related field is required Strong analytical, problem-solving and decision-making skills Excellent verbal and written communication skills Ability to work independently and as part of a team Strong attention to detail and accuracy Ability to handle multiple tasks and prioritize effectively.
