ummary:Ensure Pre-Move Survey is received and processed in accordance to military deadlinesEssential Duties and Responsibilities:Ensure Pre-Move Survey is received and processed in accordance to military deadlines.Update DPS and GMMS with pre-move survey weight, dates, and address changes.Enter and monitor all preapprovals for accessorial services in accordance to the 400NG and International Tender.Interface with Military Transportation Offices, vendors, customer service, and operations regarding preapproval status.Assist Billing and Accounts Payable departments with resolving preapproval issues.Process and distribute all Government Bill of Lading documentsVerify transit times to ensure the Required Delivery Date is accurate on all Government Bill of Lading documents.Update system with notes regarding changes and communicationJob Skills Required:Excellent verbal and written communication skillsHighly customer service orientedAbility to prioritize and re-prioritize as situations and needs change throughout the workdayAbility to multi-task and organize workflow to manage daily responsibilities, meet deadlines and prioritize workExcellent teamwork and interpersonal skills requiredExcellent attention to detail and follow throughAbility to develop and maintain positive working relationships with internal and external customersQualifications:To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. Ability to write routine reports and correspondence. Ability to speak effectively before groups of customers or employees of organization. Excellent customer service and oral/written communication skills required.Math Ability:Ability to calculate figures and amounts such as discounts, interest, commissions, proportions, percentages, area, circumference, and volume. Ability to apply concepts of basic algebra and geometry.Reasoning Ability:Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form. Ability to deal with problems involving several concrete variables in standardized situations.Computer Skills:To perform this job successfully, an individual should have knowledge of MS Word and MS Excel.
