Cyber Security Engineer

Description We are in search of a Cyber Security Engineer to join our team located in Jacksonville, Florida. In this role, you will be instrumental in safeguarding our information and network infrastructure, designing comprehensive cybersecurity architecture, and educating our staff on security best practices. Responsibilities: Design and implement security measures to protect our information and network infrastructure Develop and execute strategies for computer security, ensuring comprehensive cybersecurity architecture Identify system security requirements, document them, and propose solutions to management Maintain security infrastructure software and hardware, troubleshooting as needed Install software to monitor systems and networks for potential security breaches and intrusions Monitor systems for irregular behavior and establish preventive measures Update the company’s information security strategy regularly Train staff on information system security best practices Develop and implement company's cybersecurity strategy ensuring it is up to date Proactively work on the identification, definition, and documentation of system security requirementsThis role offers an exciting opportunity to further your career in the cybersecurity field and contribute to our ongoing commitment to maintaining a secure digital environment. Requirements Minimum of five years of experience in Cyber Security Engineering or related field Proficiency in Checkpoint, Cisco ASA, and Cisco Technologies Familiarity with Cloud Technologies, Firewall Technologies, AB Testing, and Auditing Strong knowledge of AWS Technologies and Configuration Management Demonstrated skills in Cyber Security Must possess a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology or a related field Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail Strong written and verbal communication skills Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment Proactive with the ability to work independently when required Must maintain confidentiality and carry out assignments that are sensitive in nature.
