CEI Project Administrator

AECOM is currently seeking an experienced CEI Project Administrator to support various transportation design-build projects throughout the Jacksonville, Florida area.Responsibilities: Receive general instructions regarding assignments and exercise initiative and independent judgment in solving work problems related to transportation engineering and construction projectsDirect and assign specific tasks to administrative and field staff, assisting in all phases of the construction projectPrepare and review progress estimates and final estimates throughout the construction project durationCommunicate effectively in English (verbally and in writing) with team members, clients, and stakeholdersConduct work requiring independent evaluation, selection, adaptation, and modification of standard techniques, procedures, and criteriaManage projects of substantial complexity, ensuring adherence to schedules, budgets, and quality standardsAssume lead responsibilities for a team of engineers and professional support personnel when requiredCoordinate with various departments and external agencies to ensure smooth project executionMonitor and report on project progress, identifying potential issues and proposing solutionsEnsure compliance with all relevant regulations, safety standards, and company policiesParticipate in project meetings and represent the company in client interactionsDevelop and maintain project documentation, including reports, correspondence, and technical submittalsAssist in the preparation of contract documents, change orders, and claims analysisContribute to continuous improvement initiatives within the department and organizationMentor junior staff members and provide guidance on technical and professional development
