Description Robert Half has an immediate opening for a full-time remote Azure DevOps Engineer for a growing company that is focused on modernizing the entire DevOps experience. You will be responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining efficient and reliable Azure DevOps pipelines. You will play a key role in optimizing our development processes, enhancing our site reliability engineering practices, and driving automation initiatives to streamline operations.Key Responsibilities:
Design, implement, and maintain Azure DevOps pipelines for continuous integration and continuous deployment (CI/CD) across multiple projects and environments.
Collaborate with development teams to understand requirements, provide guidance on best practices, and ensure seamless integration of DevOps processes into the software development lifecycle.
Implement and manage infrastructure as code (IaC) solutions using tools such as Terraform or ARM templates to automate deployment and configuration of Azure resources.
Develop and maintain scripts for automation of repetitive tasks, including infrastructure provisioning, configuration management, and deployment processes.
Monitor and optimize system performance, reliability, and scalability through effective site reliability engineering (SRE) practices.
Troubleshoot issues related to build failures, deployment errors, and infrastructure problems, and implement solutions in a timely manner.
Stay updated on industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices related to Azure DevOps, SRE, and automation, and make recommendations for adoption where appropriate.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including developers, testers, and system administrators, to ensure smooth and efficient operation of DevOps processes and tools.
Requirements
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
2+ years of experience working as a DevOps Engineer, with a focus on Azure DevOps.
Proficiency in setting up and managing Azure DevOps pipelines for CI/CD.
Strong scripting skills in languages such as PowerShell, Python, or Bash.
Experience with infrastructure as code (IaC) tools such as Terraform or ARM templates.
Solid understanding of site reliability engineering (SRE) principles and practices.
Familiarity with monitoring and logging tools such as Azure Monitor, Azure Log Analytics, and Prometheus.
Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to troubleshoot complex issues in a production environment.
Strong communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment.
Azure certifications are a plus.
