Find your future with us.Boeing Global Services is currently seeking an Associate Level Manufacturing Planner to become part of the P8A Aircraft Program located in Jacksonville, Florida .This position is in a Manufacturing environment on P-8A Aircraft. In the role you will Plan and lead department/organization processes for developing, implementing and maintaining various manufacturing installation plans, Bill of Materials, work instructions and illustrations to define and document as-built configuration in an Installation/Assembly environment.Position Responsibilities:

Develops, implements and maintains various manufacturing plans, Bill of Materials, work instructions and illustrations to define and document as-built configuration.

Develops manufacturing concepts and strategies to support business objectives.

Develops and integrates suppliers, processes, materials, data and technology to meet manufacturing and delivery requirements.

Reviews and approves supplier data to ensure manufacturing related requirements are met.

Develops tooling requirements based on manufacturing and engineering requirements.

Manages tools from initial design to end of use disposition. Investigates and resolves manufacturing related issues.

Performs producibility assessments for part or product designs.

Provides producibility input to design, manufacturing processes and manufacturing technologies to meet cost and schedules.

Develops integrated work statements and sequencing of events to support delivery commitments.

Drafts, updates and reviews processes and procedures to support business and regulatory agency requirements.

Works under general direction.

This position is for 2nd shift but may be asked to work alternate shifts to support business requirements.

Performs other duties as assigned and may be requested to support other programs as needed.

This position requires the ability to obtain a US Security Clearance for which the US Government requires US Citizenship.An interim and/or final U.S. Secret Clearance Post-Start is required.This position is expected to be 100% onsite. The selected candidate will be required to work onsite at one of the listed location options (Jacksonville, FL).Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):

Associate’s degree or years related work experience, or equivalent combination.

1+ years of experience in an aerospace, fabrication or manufacturing environment.

1+ years of experience with reading and interpreting engineering drawings and processes.

Ability to work 2nd shift, as required by this position.

Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):

Prior Manufacturing Planning experience or equivalent electrical systems experience

1+ years' experience involving direct planning or installation activity associated to assembly or manufacturing.

Strong communication skills & ability to work in dynamic development environment

Ability to work fairly independently within a team environment.

F/A-18, 737NG, or 767 platform experience.

Experience with GOLDesp.

Typical Education & Experience:Education/experience typically acquired through advanced education (e.g. Associate) and typically 1 or more years' related work experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience (e.g. Bachelor, 3 years' related work experience, etc.).Relocation:Relocation assistance is not a negotiable benefit for this position.
