Senior Project Manager Requirements:
MUST HAVE 10 years Commercial Project Manager experience in construction for immediate start
Applicant should be knowledgeable in all phases of commercial construction
Should have Building Construction Degree or 10 years minimum construction management experience
Applicants MUST have COMMERCIAL estimating experience and extensive knowledge of construction process and have worked as a Construction Project Manager for a building or general contractor
Senior Project Manager Responsibilities:
Manage Project Managers
Estimate project cost from set of Contract documents
Understand and oversee multiple concurrent construction projects from start to finish
Calculate and produce labor budgets of assemblies and specified scopes of work
Perform a key role in project planning, budgeting, and identification of resources needed
Create the teams, develop the objectives/goals of each and assign individual responsibilities
Project accounting functions including managing the budget, tracking team expenses and minimizing exposure and risk in the project
Ensure that construction activities move according to pre-determined schedule
Communicate effectively with the contractors responsible for completing various phases of the project
Coordinate the efforts of all parties involved in the project, which include the architects, consultants, contractors, subcontractors and laborers.
Maintain strict adherence to the budgetary guidelines, quality and safety standards
Periodic inspection of construction sites
Ensure project documents are complete
Identify the elements of project design and construction likely to give rise to disputes and claims
Senior Project Manager Additional Requirements:
Experience managing other Project Managers
High organizational skills and file management
Excellent communication skills
Good understanding of MEP building systems
Degree in building construction preferred
Ability to plan and organize
Good client management and goodwill building ability
