Assist in migrating existing courseware in PDF and MS PowerPoint formats into Enterprise Learning Management System (LMS) (Moodle).
Will provide and maintain multimedia course materials in accordance with established customer requirements and Air Force guidelines and directives
May assist in the development and maintenance of organizational training products and online/e-learning academic training materials with guidance and assistance from the government customer.
Will adhere to approved style guides and customer instructional design plan that documents policies and standards.
Will be involved in the all parts of the ADDIE process for a variety of training projects and training scenarios to ensure the effective development of sound courseware content to meet the customer’s needs.
Must have excellent writing, editing, and oral communications skills.
Must be able to communicate with engineers, graphic artist, and subject matter experts and assist in deriving requirements for future training needs.
Must be able to read and understand technical data.
Will create and sustain work instructions.
Must be a proven self-starter with an ability to interact affectively with military industry, and academic partners.
May participate in training needs analysis and gap analysis.
Will develop training using the program of record Learning Content Management System (LCMS).
Must be familiar with Microsoft, to include: word, excel, power point, outlook and MS Teams.
Will work onsite at Hurlburt Field, FL.
What we are looking for
8 years relevant progressive experience with Bachelors in related field; 6 years relevant progressive experience with Masters in related field; or High School Diploma or equivalent and 12 years relevant progressive experience.
A Bachelor’s degree in a related field.
At least 5 years of experience creating, developing and sustaining formal training products using modern training tools to deliver Computer-Based Training (CBT) products for web-based delivery and end-user consumption.
At least 5 years of experience applying Instructional Systems Design (ISD) principles and best practices to analyze design, develop, implement training products including: Instructor Guides, Student Guides, Supplemental Teaching Materials, Work Instructions and Job Aids
Experience applying adult learning theory, training principles, and techniques to training development activities
Experience developing training and applying ingenuity and creativity to customer training requirements to enhance value
Able to multi-task a fast-paced work environment
Experience applying writing, editing, and prooing skills to training products
Experience using the Adobe Creative Cloud to include Captivate, InDesign, and InCopy.
Experience using Learning Content Management System (LCMS) as a developer.
Experience with Multi-Media Design Architecture and eLearning standards including Interactivity Level 2 & 3, SCORM, and Web environments
Strong interpersonal and teaming skills
Willingness to learn and become proficient in the use of Moodle LMS to support customer training outcomes.
Active SECRET clearance with the US government
Proven experience in providing support to e-learning curriculum development, preferably within a military training context
Proficiency in using learning management systems and multimedia/graphic design tools
Strong technical writing and editing skills
Familiarity with Air Force guidelines, directives, and instructional design methodologies
Ability to collaborate effectively with government stakeholders and subject matter experts.
Preferred Requirements
Experience using a Learning Management System such as Moodle, Canvas or similar tools.
Familiarity with military training standards and developing training for the Department of Defense.
Experience creating work instructions
Experience developing Job Aids using Adobe Captivate
