Description We are in the aerospace industry, specifically seeking a Financial Systems Architect to join our team in Hollywood, Florida. This role is pivotal in implementing and managing our financial application system, with a focus on IBM Cognos TM1 (Planning Analytics). It plays a crucial role in ensuring accurate financial reporting, forecasting, and system management while aligning the system with business needs.Responsibilities: Lead the development, including coding and testing, of TM1 applications Collaborate with finance teams to ensure the system meets business requirements Implement enhancements and updates in the Planning Analytics system Oversee and manage TM1 applications with other developers Improve finance processes using TM1 technology continually Develop and manage financial reporting systems in line with accepted accounting principles Guarantee timely and accurate preparation and analysis of financial data, including sales, earnings, and cash balances Prepare reports summarizing and forecasting financial performance Assist in the preparation and direction of company budgets Provide support on special projects for the Group Controller Perform additional duties as assigned. Requirements Must possess a minimum of 5 years of experience in a similar role Proficiency in 3M, Accounting Software Systems, CRM, Crystal Reports, and Data Mining Techniques is necessary Knowledge and experience with 'About Time', Accounting Functions, Annual Budget, Auditing, and Budget Processes Familiarity with IBM Cognos, IBM Cognos Planning, and IBM Cognos TM1 Ability to create comprehensive financial reports Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or a related field Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Proven ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines Familiarity with financial regulations and legislation in the Aerospace industry Strong team player with the ability to work independently when required Advanced knowledge of MS Office Suite, particularly Excel and PowerPoint Proven ability to manage multiple tasks and projects simultaneously Strong attention to detail and accuracy in all work outputs.Robert Half is the world’s first and largest specialized talent solutions firm that connects highly qualified job seekers to opportunities at great companies.
