Jr. Consultant - Inspector - Hernando County, FL Hernando County, FL Temporary Mid Level Share (https://tidalbasin.applytojob.com/app/share/ld1eIwJNK1) Position Summar y: Tidal Basin seeks a competent Inspector for a potential opportunity to join our team assist ing in one or more programs that provide temporary housing from a recent hurricane. This position represents an exceptional opportunity to join an expert team to facilitate change and hel p make a l asting difference . The Inspector will be responsible for performing inspections at residential properties or commercial properties impacted by Hurricane Idalia. Inspectors will confirm t railers are properly installed and assist in moving in applicants into their temporary housing units. Job Duties and Responsibilities Include:
C oordinate with homeowner to schedule inspections .
P erform on-site inspections of sites with t ravel trailer installations .
A ssist in document collection and move-in of hurricane survivors to their temporary shelters .
Collaborate with install vendor s on inspection scheduling issues.
Collect, review, and analyze data, and prepare reports .
Skills and Competencies :
Diligence, thoroughness, and excellent attention to detail .
Valid drivers’ license with reliable transportation and acceptable driving record .
Able to pass a background check .
Ability to create reports, schedules , and be proficient in MS Office suite .
Strong communication skills to successfully collaborate with program staff, homeowners, and other contractors .
Required Education and Experience :
Must have at least five (5) years of experience performing similar inspections .
Desired Education and Experience :
Knowledge of applicable codes, standards, and trade practices .
OSHA training certification .
Job Location :
On-site in multiple locations in Dixie, Hamilton, Charlotte, Sarasota, Hernando, Lee, Collier, Gainesville, and Jacksonville counties , significant travel ac ross areas impacted by Hurricane Helene.
