Our farm produces healthy food for individuals at farmers markets, grocery stores, and the best restaurants throughout Northern and Central Florida. This position supports the farm in a variety of ways.
Summary of Role(s):
This role offers a flexible work schedule of 4-5 days per week, Monday through Friday, with a target of 40 hours per week. As part of the position, the candidate will receive training in TPA, ORL, JAX, OBFM, and ORL, gradually integrating into our current driver rotation. On farm days, responsibilities include equipment maintenance and potential training on operating the Skag Vride mower and Stihl trimmer.
As a Delivery Driver, you will be responsible for packing items with care and ensuring their safe delivery. You will maintain inventory records, communicate with the production team and office staff, and provide exceptional customer service. Reporting any errors, accidents, or inconsistencies is crucial, and you will utilize the smartphone routing app, Routific. The ability to lift at least 50 pounds and perform preventative maintenance checks on the vehicle are required.
In the role of Small Engine Tech, you will perform routine lubrication, inspections, and services on our diesel and gasoline vehicles and equipment. This includes maintaining a variety of vehicles such as tractors, box trucks, pickups, vans, and small engines. You will also be responsible for changing tires and maintaining the tool area in good working order, while keeping complete documentation of services and intervals.
As a Mowing and Maintenance Tech, attention to detail is key. Operating the Skag mower and servicing small engines will be your primary responsibilities. You will also assist in maintaining the tool area, recordkeeping, and ensuring preventative maintenance is performed on time. The ability to work outdoors, use digital tools for recordkeeping, and communicate effectively with team members are essential.

Job Duties Delivery Driver:
Pack items and drive with care to ensure products arrive in good condition.
Inventory using the Load List and ensure all products are accounted for
Communicate with Production Team and Office Staff to resolve any errors or missing items
Document inventory and keep written and digital logs
Provide excellent customer service to everyone regardless of race, religion, sexual orientation or identity, national origin
Report errors, accidents, etc immediately to managers
Use a smartphone routing app called Routific
Lift at least 50 pounds and climb into the box truck regularly
Pay attention to details and report when inconsistencies are found
Perform preventative maintenance checks including fluids, tire pressure and belts, observe vehicle functions and report any issues
Communicate professionally and courteously with other staff and customers
Unload and clean truck at the end of each shift

Requirements
Pass background check
Demonstrated Seven Year Safe Driving Record (Pass a MVR check)
Positive attitude and friendly demeanor, be a team player

Unpaid vacation in the fall or winter is negotiable, in coordination with other staff.
The first day for any position will be a work-trade. This orientation will be approximately a 3-4 hour day, with the goals of food safety training, familiarization with the work space, cleaning/organizing, and introduction to our system. We will compensate with an abundant box of produce, eggs, meat, and/or value added items for this first work/trade day.
