Clinical Psychology Associates of North Central Florida has more that 35-years of experience in providing some of the most comprehensive pediatric and adult clinical and forensic neuropsychological assessments in the North Central Florida community.
We are seeking a promising candidate to assume a position administering and scoring psychological and neuropsychological tests to children and adults. Other office duties include helping to supervise undergrad interns in writing histories, website, covering front office, etc. Most of the work will be in our main Gainesville office, with occasional travel to Ocala, so reliable transportation is necessary. Modern Gainesville office located in the Millhopper shopping area.
2-3 months of full-time training is provided without tuition or compensation in exchange for two-year commitment in paid psychometrician position with pay raise after one year. There will also be expectations to train the next psychometrician if the individual does not stay on after the two years. No insurance benefits but leave time is accrued.
Minimum qualifications are bachelor's degree in psychology or related field. Ideal candidate will have excellent interpersonal and communication skills with adults and children, excellent English skills, ability to sustain energy and attention while engaging examinees through two-day evaluations, dependability, and ability to work efficiently while maintaining a level of accuracy that will stand up to forensic standards.
This is an excellent opportunity for direct patient diagnostic care experience. Many of our psychometricians have successfully gone on to grad school.
