The successful candidate will work under the supervision of Prof. Ramon Miranda Quintana (https://quintana.chem.ufl.edu/), focusing on the development of new similarity-based Machine Learning techniques for drug design and biomolecule analysis. This two-year appointment is renewable based on performance and funding availability.Successful candidates shall have strong background in computational and theoretical chemistry. The postdoctoral associate will be responsible for conducting research on developing and implementing new ML tools using our n-ary similarity methods. The postdoctoral associate will also be expected to mentor graduate students, publish in peer-reviewed journals, and assist funding applications. Our group specializes in computational and theoretical chemistry.
