Responsibilities include:
Washing, drying, and organizing laboratory sample bottles, glass and plastic tubes and other laboratory glassware; Help maintain and clean all laboratory workspaces.
Prepares sample bottle packs, filter packs and data sheets for collection centers; purchase laboratory and field supplies as requested by supervisor.
Drive to multiple sample collection centers located across Florida and transport samples back to the LAKEWATCH laboratory for processing.
Prepares field sampling kits for citizen volunteers, which includes making Secchi disks; repairs and maintains sampling equipment.
Occasional field sampling, data entry and other duties as neededExpected Salary:$13-$15; commensurate with education and experience.Minimum Requirements:Valid Florida Driver’s License.
