Oversee the daily operations of multiple ongoing projects as a project manager, assuring that all

technical staff are fully trained in project-specific SOPs and online training.

Work with the Principal Investigator(s) on a daily basis to assure the quality and integrity of the data

generated in the laboratory, and to assure that deadlines are met. Collaborate with PI in formulatingexperimental design, and maintaining regulatory protocols.

Quality control and assurance of laboratory processes, regulatory compliance, and inventory.

Interface with data management staff to ensure human blood and tissue assay data are maintained

in appropriate data structure.

Assist in data management and analysis of single-cell sequencing, gene expression, and

genotyping experiments.

Work with outside collaborators/consortia that are studying donor blood, cells, and tissues for

immunology and type 1 diabetes specific projects.

Organize, oversee, and coordinate data uploads for manuscripts and in compliance with grant

applications.

Participate in preparation of reports, manuscripts, and grant applications.

Work with procurement and vendors to coordinate equipment purchases for the lab .

Oversee operation and maintenance of various instrumentation including flow cytometers and

single-cell and spatial transcriptomics platforms.Expected Salary:Starting salary is between $60,000 - $75,000Minimum Requirements:Bachelor's degree in biology or a closely related field and seven years of relevant experience; or a Master's degree in biology or a closely related field and five years of relevant experience; Doctoral degree in biology or a closely related field and two years of relevant experience.Preferred Qualifications:Experience with genetics, immunology, and/or cell biology research techniques.Experience in biological sample handling, processing, staining, and analysis via flow cytometry.Programming experience.
