Description We are offering a permanent employment opportunity for an Accounting Manager in Gainesville, Georgia. As an integral part of our team, the Accounting Manager will be responsible for guiding the operations of the finance department, including accounts payable, billings and collections, and payroll. Additionally, the Accounting Manager will oversee the consolidation of financial data for internal and external financial statements and evaluate our accounting and internal control systems.Responsibilities Guide and direct all accounting operational functions Oversee the accumulation and consolidation of financial data for internal and external financial statements Evaluate and improve accounting and internal control systems Lead the finance department, which includes accounts payable, billings and collections, and payroll Oversee the month-end and year-end close of income statement and balance sheet, account reconciliations, and G/L analysis Prepare and present monthly financial reports to executive committee and partners Manage the production of the annual budget and forecasts, and monitor them on a monthly basis Handle cash management, including preparing cash-flow reports, projecting cash needs, and ensuring timely cash collection. Requirements Proven experience in Roll Forwards, with a clear understanding of its application in accounting practices Demonstrated expertise in Debt Compliance, ensuring adherence to financial regulations and standards Proficiency in managing Debt Repayment, including the development of effective repayment strategies Ability to perform Account Reconciliation, ensuring accuracy and integrity of financial data Strong skills in Data Analysis, with the capacity to interpret complex financial information and provide actionable insights Proficient in the use of NetSuite for managing accounting operations and financial reporting Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Excel for data management and financial modeling Experience in Audit procedures, with the ability to identify discrepancies and implement corrective actions Robert Half is the world’s first and largest specialized talent solutions firm that connects highly qualified job seekers to opportunities at great companies.
