Established company seeking an experienced bookkeeper with extensive QuickBooks Online expertise for a remote position. This role offers steady, consistent hours with the flexibility of working from home.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage day-to-day bookkeeping operations using QuickBooks Online
- Reconcile accounts and ensure accurate financial record-keeping
- Clean up and correct historical bookkeeping errors and inconsistencies
- Reconstruct accurate financial records from previous poorly maintained systems
- Prepare monthly financial reports and statements
- Assist with other accounting tasks as needed
Requirements:
- Proven experience as a bookkeeper (5+ years minimum)
- Advanced proficiency with QuickBooks Online
- Demonstrated expertise in troubleshooting and fixing bookkeeping errors
- Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills
- Excellent communication skills
- Ability to travel to Gainesville easily for occasional in-person meetings
- Self-motivated with strong time management skills
- References that can verify your bookkeeping cleanup expertise
