Diagnose and Repair:
Skillfully diagnose issues with forklifts and related equipment.
Execute repairs promptly and accurately, minimizing call-backs or re-work.
Customer Interaction:
Communicate effectively with customers, ensuring their needs are met.
Perform only the repairs requested by equipment owners.
Efficient Documentation:
Accurately record labor hours, drive time, and parts used.
Submit complete documentation in a timely manner.
Work Environment:
Maintain clean and organized work areas, tools, and equipment.
Adhere to all company policies and work rules.
Collaboration and Communication:
Keep your manager informed of job progress, delays, and changes.
Work effectively within a team environment.
Requirements / Skills:
Technical background (familiarity with forklift repair preferred).
Knowledge of hydraulics, electrical systems, fuel systems, and charging systems is advantageous.
Must have your own tools.
Excellent communication skills and accurate paperwork completion.
Physical fitness to meet the demands of a service technician role.
Valid driver’s license with a good driving record.
