Medicab Transportation offers Non-Emergency Medical Transporation (NEMP) services, provide ambulatory support and wheelchair assistance and is seeking a hardworking, responsible team player who wants to embark on a career path in our Dispatch Department.
The Transport Advisor is our company’s first point of contact for non-emergency calls. In this position you will oversee and maintain call logs, monitor routes, transfer messages and direct Transport Specialists in company vehicles.
Essential Duties:
Answer non-emergency calls and document important information.
Respond to any issues and follow-up by coordinating with the appropriate office person and company vehicles.
Operate and manage a multi-line telephone.
Respond to queries related to clients and facilities.
Supervise the route and status of company vehicles to prioritize their daily schedule.
Maintain and update call logs, call records and other important documentation.
Candidate must be able to work weekends. Candidates must possess a basic understanding of Microsoft Suite - be able to adapt and learn our company software / database. Be able to at least type 30 wpm and be a Team Player.
