Job Responsibilities:
- Operational Leadership: Manage and oversee daily operations within your designated area, ensuring efficient and smooth service delivery.
- Team Management: Lead, mentor, and develop a team of couriers, dispatchers, and support staff to achieve performance targets.
- Performance Monitoring: Track and analyze operational metrics to identify areas for improvement and implement strategic initiatives.
- Customer Service: Ensure high levels of customer satisfaction by addressing inquiries, resolving issues, and maintaining strong client relationships.
- Logistics Coordination: Optimize routes and schedules for maximum efficiency and cost-effectiveness.
- Compliance and Safety: Ensure all operations adhere to company policies, industry regulations, and safety standards.
- Budget Management: Oversee budgeting and financial performance, managing resources effectively to meet financial goals.
- Building Business Help grow the area with new business and accounts to add to our existing client list
Qualifications:
-Reside in Ft. Myers/ SW Fl area
- Proven experience as an Area Manager, Operations Manager, or similar role within the courier, logistics, or transportation industry.
- Strong leadership and team management skills with a track record of motivating and developing staff.
- Excellent organizational and multitasking abilities.
- Proficient in using logistics software (TMS) and MS Office.
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to analyze data and make informed decisions.
- Knowledge/ of the local area and route planning is a plus.
