BU Underground is looking for a highly motivated, hardworking individual to join our team.
Laborer will assist pipe layers and be working on infrastructure projects including Storm Sewer, Water / Wastewater.

Responsibilities:
Ability to follow instructions
Understanding of basic construction principles
Performs construction site set up and clean up
Ability to dig pits, trenches and/or indentations manually or mechanically
Carry and load materials to be used on job
Operate small hand tools
Provide ground support for backhoe and drill operators
Ability to safely identify utilities in the trench
Light repair and maintenance of tools and equipment
Keep equipment and vehicles clean and organized
Drive Pickup Truck and other vehicles to and from job site
Other duties as assigned
Follow safety guidelines
Requirements:
Underground utilities experience a plus (Lift Stations, Manhole, Water, Sewer, and Storm Water)
Valid Driver’s License and/or reliable transportation
Team player with professional and courteous attitude to supervisors, co-workers and the general public
Must be willing to work weekends and/or nights when necessary
Must be in good physical condition to work outside in various weather conditions including extreme heat and humidity and be able to lift 50 lbs
Bilingual a plus
Must be able to follow safety requirements and guidelines and practice safety first attitude
