Deck Hand – Marine Construction
Location: Marco Island, FL
Company: Established Marine Construction Company (20+ years in business)
We are a well-established marine construction company based in Marco Island, FL, seeking a full-time Deck Hand to join our barge crew.
Job Responsibilities:
Assist with barge operations under crane supervision
Set pilings, seawall panels, and rip rap
Operate a push boat
Perform in-water tasks as needed
Read and interpret tape measures and framing squares
Use basic hand and power tools
Understand and work from simple dock construction drawings
Requirements:
Comfortable working in and around water
Basic construction or marine experience preferred
Ability to read construction measurements and plans
Physically capable of performing demanding manual labor in outdoor conditions
Reliable transportation and a strong work ethic
Bi-lingual an plus but not required
