BC Underground LLC is currently looking for an experienced diesel heavy equipment mechanic / fleet mechanic. This position is based out of our 3260 Cargo St., Fort Myers, FL 33916 location.

Responsibilities
Analyze malfunctions and repairs
Maintain and rebuild construction equipment, such as Loaders, Excavators, Rollers, Mixers, Material Handling Equipment and water pumps
Operate and inspect machines or equipment to diagnose defects
Dismantle and reassemble equipment using hoists and hand tools
Replace defective engines and subassemblies such as transmissions
Weld broken parts and structural members
Examines parts for damage and/or excessive wear
Using micrometers and gauges
Tests overhauled equipment to ensure operating efficiently
Plans all routine work procedures
Job Requirements
Must have at least 2 years Diesel experience in Heavy Construction & Earthmoving Equipment
Knowledge on all types of construction equipment including: Loaders, Backhoes, Excavators, Material Handlers, Rollers, Off Road Trucks
Must have computer knowledge
Must have own tools
Good physical condition; must be able to work in heat for 8 hours and lift up to 50 lbs
Bilingual a plus
