We are looking for a dedicated, hardworking individual to join our team as a delivery driver and acoustical ceiling installer trainee. This is a hybrid position that will require flexibility and comfort with performing different tasks at different times. The main role of this position will be to deliver material to jobsites from our warehouse and suppliers, clear off excess material from jobsites, and maintain warehouse inventory and organization. As this is not always a full time job, you will also be working in the field training to install acoustical ceilings. This includes installing ceiling tile, insulation and ultimately ceiling grid. We work largely in Lee and Collier counties with some work in Charlotte county as well. The following items and skills/traits are required for the position:
1. A valid and clean license
2. A working vehicle or ability to get to work each day
3. A working cell phone
4. Ability to drive a large work van and comfort with doing so (CDL license is not necessary)
5. Ability to routinely lift heavy material (up to approximately 50lbs)
6. Must be punctual, reliable, organized, professional and efficient
7. Must have a willingness to learn new skills
8. This position often has opportunity for overtime and will typically require an early start (6am most days)
