Job Description
Southlinks Custom Cabinetry, a high-end custom cabinet company in the surrounding SW Florida area, is looking for a quality-minded individual to assist our finishing department. Prefer experience with prep sanding, raw wood in preparation for the finish. This position will work in an large air-conditioned shop.
Essential Job Functions:
· Performing tasks required to prep surfaces for finishing of cabinet and other wood pieces.
· Ability to correct imperfections and complete repairs as necessary
· Duties includes Cleaning and Sanding Prep
· Experience with necessary power/hand tools related to cabinet finishing.
Experience & Other Requirements
· Experienced with woodwork shop fabrication, cabinetry, and custom casework.
· Knowledge and capability to prep with using proper prep techniques.
· High quality workmanship
· Strong attention to detail
· Must pass pre-employment drug screening and background check.
· No issue with repetitive use of fingers and hands, standing, squatting, bending and lifting up to 50lbs
· Possess a valid driver’s license.
· Attention to detail
· Ability to work with minimal guidance.
