Based in Fort Myers, Florida, our operations extend across a greater geographical area, supported by a strong in-house crew and an extensive subcontractor network.
What We’re Looking For:
Experience: Minimum of 5 years in bookkeeping within a business generating at least $15 million annually. Construction accounting experience is essential.
Skills: Proficiency in QuickBooks and Microsoft Office, expertise in AP/AR, billing, collections, payroll processing, financial analysis, and work in progress (WIP) reporting.
Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance preferred; CPA is a plus. QuickBooks ProAdvisor certification or equivalent is strongly preferred.
Attributes: Detail-oriented, proactive problem-solver, excellent communicator, and a true team player.
Key Responsibilities:
Maintain accurate financial records and manage cash flow.
Prepare and analyze weekly financial reports to support decision-making.
Facilitate leadership meetings, track tasks, and ensure accountability.
Oversee employee evaluations and manage incentive programs.
Coordinate recruiting and onboarding processes.
Support budgeting, financial planning, and compliance efforts.
Manage work in progress (WIP) reports to track work and payments.
Drive process improvements and collaborate across departments.
