We are seeking a highly skilled CNC Programmer to join our dynamic manufacturing team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for developing and optimizing CNC programs to ensure the efficient production of high-quality parts. You will collaborate closely with engineers, machinists, and quality control personnel to meet production goals and continuously improve manufacturing processes. This opportunity involves using 3- and 4-axis cnc machining centers to create and manufacture parts and components. The successful applicant will have a keen eye for detail, be knowledgeable about all aspects of the manufacturing process, and be able to produce quality pieces on time. MUST be familiar with turning and milling.
Responsibilities:
Develop CNC Programs: Create and modify CNC programs using CAD/CAM software to produce precision parts according to engineering specifications and drawings.
Machine Setup: Set up and operate CNC machines, including lathes, mills, and routers, to run test programs and verify the accuracy of the CNC programs.
Tool Selection: Choose appropriate cutting tools, speeds, and feeds to optimize machining operations for efficiency and quality.
Troubleshooting: Identify and resolve issues related to CNC programming, machine operation, and tooling to minimize downtime and scrap.
Continuous Improvement: Implement and suggest process improvements to enhance production efficiency, reduce waste, and improve product quality.
Documentation: Maintain accurate records of CNC programs, machine settings, tool changes, and maintenance activities.
Collaboration: Work closely with design engineers, production supervisors, and quality control to ensure parts meet all specifications and standards.
Training: Train and support machinists and other team members in understanding CNC programming and machine operation.Operate Computer Numerical Control (CNC) machines to automatically perform various machining operations.
Simulate parts production processes using Computer-Aided Design (CAD) software.
Ensure that all work meets the highest standards of quality and accuracy.
Operate CNC machinery while maintaining company standards of quality and productivity.
Communicate with co-workers and supervisors to resolve production issues.
Use effective communication tactics to report progress on projects, share ideas, and solicit feedback.

Pay: $16.00 - $30.00 per hour
