We are seeking skilled Construction associates for drywall, finisher, and general labor workers to join our team. The ideal candidate will have experience in drywall installation, repair, and finishing, with a strong attention to detail and commitment to high-quality workmanship.
Key Responsibilities:
Drywall Installation: Measure, cut, and install drywall panels on interior walls and ceilings, ensuring proper alignment and secure fastening.
Repair and Restoration: Assess and repair damaged drywall, including water-damaged areas, and provide support during restoration projects.
Finishing Work: Apply joint compound, tape, and sand drywall seams to achieve a smooth finish, preparing surfaces for painting or other treatments.
Quality Control: Inspect completed work for imperfections and complete necessary touch-ups to meet quality standards.
Collaboration: Work closely with project managers and other construction personnel to ensure timely completion of projects while adhering to safety protocols.
Tool Maintenance: Maintain and utilize hand and power tools effectively, ensuring they are kept in good working condition.
Qualifications:
Proven experience as a drywall installer and finisher, preferably in a restoration or construction setting.
Proficiency in drywall techniques, including taping, mudding, and sanding.
Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings.
Strong physical stamina and ability to lift heavy materials.
Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
Education:
High school diploma or equivalent; relevant certifications or training in construction or finishing techniques are a plus.
