leading provider of Trailer parts and accessories, is seeking a motivated and detail-oriented individual to join our parts department team as a Purchasing/Inventory Receiving Assistant. This role is crucial in ensuring accurate inventory management and efficient procurement processes.
Responsibilities:
Assist in the procurement of parts and supplies, including generating purchase orders and following up with vendors.
Receive and inspect incoming shipments, verifying accuracy against purchase orders and packing slips.
Accurately record inventory transactions in our inventory management system.
Conduct regular inventory counts and reconcile discrepancies.
Communicate with vendors and internal departments regarding order status and inventory availability.
Assist with returns and warranty processing.
Maintain accurate records of all purchasing and receiving activities.
Assist with general warehouse duties as needed.
Qualifications:
Bilingual Spanish / English
High school diploma or equivalent required.
Previous experience in automotive parts, purchasing, or inventory management preferred.
Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
Proficient computer skills, including experience with inventory management software.
Excellent organizational and communication skills.
Ability to lift and move heavy objects.
Valid driver's license.
Knowledge of automotive parts.
