Restaurant Manager

We are small, dynamic Japanese restaurant where Japanese comfort foods and specialties, are served mainly as ramen, sushi and small plates to share. We are recognized annually by Gulfshore Life and Naples Illustrated, for the quality and art of Chef Koko’s sushi. Our restaurant has 36-48 seats.

We are looking for experienced Restaurant Manager to join with us.

Requirements:

- Minimum 3 years in Management experience for a culinary establishment

- General understanding of operations in both front and back of house

- Ability to communicate effectively

- Available to work shifts, extended hours, late night, including weekends and holidays

- Available to work on server shifts if we are very low of staff

Job Functions:

- Manage and oversee for recruiting, hiring, training, scheduling, performance evaluations, and/or terminations

- Ensure maximum revenue in operations achieved from all sales opportunities

- Communicate with vendors and other service providers as a brand ambassador to produce results and successfully work

- Maintain employee files and documentation while maintaining confidentiality

- Maintain Standards of quality and service and station of which the employees are responsible for

- Ensure the restaurant adheres to compliance policies at all time including all federal, state, local labor, health, and safety laws

- Maintain the premise in shape before service, during service, and after service is completed

- Be able to assist in taking customer orders, telephone queries and other duties when necessary

- Ensure smooth running of the food and beverage operations

- Overseeing closing of the establishment

- Supervising employees during work shifts

- Ensure that all food and beverage items are up to date in the POS/ website/ third parties service providers/ and Menu

- Ensure customers' request and feedback both verbal and written are responded promptly and efficiently

- Other duties as assigned
