Job Summary:
Oversee set-up and clean-up, and facilitation for all banquet functions. Provides exceptional customer service for guests and clients.
Job Description:
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
Facilitate service standards for all functions ensuring consistency of service and quality throughout. Assist with the planning, organizing and execution of all banquet functions.
Work with Sales and Food & Beverage teams to ensure appropriate set up, staffing and resources for all functions.
Partner with department leaders to discuss details of event, maintaining informed of changes.
Complete banquet rooms set-up and clean-up. Monitor maintenance of area to ensure quality standards, and request assistance as needed. Advise supervisor of additional needed materials as necessary.
Supervised all assigned side work to include replenishing and restocking banquet supplies.
Greet Clients in charge and respond to requests.
Prepare banquet check and ring in system.
Ensure complete guest satisfaction at all times. Handle guests' complaints and solve them according to customer service standards.
Support in Server position in restaurant, as necessary.
Abide by all state, federal and corporate liquor regulations pertaining to serving alcoholic beverages to minors and intoxicated guests.
SKILL AND KNOWLEDGE REQUIREMENTS INCLUDE
High School Diploma required. Bachelor's or Business Degree preferred.
At least 2 years of experience in related management required.
Cater ease knowledge a plus
Food Safety Certified a plus.
Demonstrated talent for interacting with a wide variety of people.
Ability to effectively organize and coordinate multiple priorities; ability to work well as a team leader; ability to problem-solve.
Strong customer service abilities; actively looks for ways to assist customers and coworkers.
Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs.
